Report on visit to Vietnam to Review SRI Progress

The initial reason for traveling to Hanoi at the beginning of January, 2006, was to participate in the 2nd International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability (January 9-12) and to make there a presentation on SRI. This large event was organized by the Australian publishing company Common Ground together with Australian National University. It was supported by the Pacific Asia Observatory for Cultural Diversity in Human Development; the Hanoi University of Culture; the Department of National Cultural Heritage of the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture and Information; the Quang Ninh Provincial Government; the Ha Long Bay World Heritage Area; the Hanoi Office of UNESCO; and the Globalism Institute of the RMIT University (formerly Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). The first of these international conferences was held in 2005 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
