Analysis of Data from the Baseline Survey for IDDP

A baseline survey for CARE Cambodia’s Integrated Demining and Development Project (IDDP) was conducted in January and February 2003 in six target villages for the project, in Banteay Ampil district, Oddor Meanchey province. The survey collected a range of demographic information, as well as data on livelihood and income, land ownership, assets and resources, water and sanitation, health, mine awareness and response, personal security, and response to emergencies. The purpose of the survey was to establish a baseline against which the impact of CARE’s IDDP IIa project could be measured in future.
