Evaluation Report Integrated Emergency Assistance to Vulnerable Families in Banteay Ampil District - Phase II Oddar Meanchey ProAbstract:
This project, funded by ECHO, started in October 2002 and was intended to last 12 months (later extended to 13.5 months).
In order to measure the effects and impacts of the activities taken place during this time, an internal evaluation was planned in the proposal. This evaluation served as a useful practice. Firstly, it was to measure the achievement of the CARE project team, secondly it was a capacity building strategy adopted for the implementation of this activities. The evaluation itself would also be an exercise for capacity building of the staff and if possible, also the beneficiaries.
Volunteers from the team, alongside the project coordinator created an Evaluation Working Group, whose two main goals were:
-To increase the monitoring and evaluation practice amongst the staff by involving them in the design of the evaluation.
-To have an internal evaluation carried out by the project team.
