Title:

Spien Sokhapheap Baseline Survey

Abstract:

Partners for Development (PFD) have worked in Cambodia since 1992, principally in underserved areas with very poor access to health, education, water supply and other basic services. PFD is launching Spien Sokhapheap (Bridges to Health), a program to further improve health services and access to health services in operational health districts in Kratie and Koh Kong provinces in Cambodia. Spien Sokhapheap is funded by USAID and will operate from 2003 to 2005. The programme will focus on community health and health systems strengthening, with selected interventions in reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and STDs, Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), malaria and dengue fever prevention and control.
