Title:

Concern Cambodia Annual Report 2008

Abstract:

Throughout 2008 Concern continued to advance the objectives of our SILIC programme 2006-2010(Supporting Initiatives for Livelihood Improvement in Cambodia). Our current programming seeks to increase the capacity of communities to identify their development needs and rights and take action, and to increase the sustainable capacity of institutional service providers to deliver appropriate services to the rural poor. This year includes a number of accomplishments that we can highlight among which include: stepping up multi pronged, medium and long term responses to the poor who are increasingly exposed to rising food prices; increasing Partners capacities to assist communities to prioritize value chains and selecting products that offer best potential for development; and securing training resources to improve awareness among target groups on natural resource rights.
