Project Description

The principal objectives of  the basic nutrition education program are:

  • Increasing income and achieve annual food security.
  • Having effective and efficient application of Values-Based Holistic Community Development tools to achieve solitary and social harmony.
  • Increasing literacy capacity and internalized their values through Value-Based Literacy (VBL) education.

The activities we propose to include in the Basic Nutrition Education project are as follows:

  • providing capacity building to beneficiaries on technical skills
  • Distributing 40 pigs{comma} 70 goats{comma} 1500 chickens and 4000 fingerlings{comma} to 155 original families.
  • Distributing fruit trees and vegetable seeds.
  • Distributing 10 bio-digesters.
  • Conducting 2 exposure trips a year.
  • Conducting co-learning and sharing leadership among PPs 2 times a year.
  • Building relationship with other relevant institutions to support small scale farmer of SHG.
  • Providing non-technical and technical trainings to all SHG members.
  • Group saving{comma} and credit and micro enterprise.
  • Conducting SHG mobile meetings.
  • Conducting community forums and educational campaigns during national and international events.
